OUR STORY

GMX7 began with a simple question: Why are swimmers expected to build strength outside the water, when performance happens inside it?

The Origin

The GMX7 system was developed by world champion swimmer David McCagg. Through years of elite competition and training, he recognized a gap in traditional swim training: Athletes were logging thousands of yards each week, yet many struggled to develop the propulsion required for real speed. Strength training existed. Swim training existed. But there was no effective way to combine them inside the water. GMX7 was built to solve that problem.

Our Mission

To advance swimming performance through precision resistance training that builds propulsion, efficiency, and control in the water.

Our Vision

To redefine how all athletes train for speed and power in the water.

Our Philosophy

Swimming faster does not come from brute force. It comes from controlled power delivered efficiently. This belief is the foundation of the GMX7 training system. GMX7 isn’t just equipment. It is a performance philosophy designed to help swimmers train smarter, move with precision, and develop the propulsion required for real speed.
