While pandemic restrictions kept many swimmers dry in 2020, St. Pete company GMX7 was learning how to ready the world’s fastest freestylers for when the lanes reopened.

Founded in 2018 by seven-time gold medalist swimmer and former world-record holder, David McCagg, the Downtown St. Pete company is known in the competitive swimming community for its top-of-the-line resistance training machine: the X-1 Pro.

Virginia collegiate swim programs seeking competitive advantage, add game changing new training device to improve athletic performance

RICHMOND, Va. – Collegiate institutions across Virginia have adopted GMX7’s revolutionary new training device called the X1-PRO in an effort to gain an advantage over their swimming competitors and pursue championships.

Since November, Liberty, Virginia Tech the University of Richmond have all adopted the X1-PRO and are continuing to increase the devices they have on-hand.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. –The GOOD DESIGN® exhibition program began as a sponsorship between The Merchandise Mart in Chicago and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and continues today by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

The program called for three shows a year: one during the Chicago winter furniture market in January, another coinciding with the June summer market, and a November show based on the previous two exhibitions. Each year, a different prestigious designer was selected to curate the installation. Charles and Ray designed the 5,300-square-foot space for the inaugural installation in 1950, followed by Finn Juhl, Paul Rudolph, and Alexander Girard.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – While Caeleb Dressel may not be a household name just yet, he is taking the swimming world by storm and projected to win 6-8 gold medals in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Dressel, a 24-year-old Olympic gold medalist from Green Cove Springs, Florida, smashed two world records and took home MVP honors while competing at the International Swimming League in Budapest, Hungary, late last month.
